Sherry Finzer believes that music can heal. Her musical journey has taken her from classical to jazz, pop, world, and flamenco, to today, where she feels her music does the best work by helping to calm, soothe and heal through her New Age music. Fueled by stories shared by listeners and fans, as well as her personal experiences, she records, performs, composes, and runs Heart Dance Records – a label consisting of artists with a focus on healing music. Sherry specializes in the low flutes - alto, bass, and contrabass.

Sherry's music can is on SXM Spa Channel (68), Pandora, Spotify, Music Choice Soundscapes, Galaxie Spa Channel, Calm Radio, The River of Calm, Journeyscapes, international radio programming, multiple airlines, and overhead music channels.

In 5th grade, Sherry began playing the flute in the elementary school band in upstate NY and immediately fell in love with music, and began studying privately. Sherry experienced some dark times during these years and found her sanctuary in music. By the end of the second year of band, she was playing college level Bach and Handel Sonatas. She continued her classical studies throughout her school years. After a hiatus raising her two sons, Sherry returned to the competitive classical world and received many performance awards, including being selected to play at several National Flute Association conventions. In 2015, she and her family moved to Phoenix, AZ, where she found new opportunities to perform with a variety of musicians and genres, including jazz, flamenco, and New Age. Upon hearing that her music was helping people in a healing manner, Sherry recorded her first New Age album, Sanctuary, and started her label Heart Dance Records in 2009. Since then she has recorded 10 New Age CDs, and 6 in other genres. Three of her collaborations have won major awards - Transformation with guitarist Darin Mahoney (2013) One World Music Album of the Year, Flute Flight with Native American Flutist Mark Holland (2015) Zone Music Reporter Best Meditation/Relaxation Album, and Trialogue with Darin Mahoney and pan-global percussionist Will Clipman (2016) Zone Music Reporter Best Acoustic Album, and most recently Let There Be Light with Tom Moore (2017) Zone Music Reporter Best Relaxation/Meditation Album.
